The settlement benefits consumers who purchased any Ritas products (margarita products, spritzers and more) between Jan. 1, 2018, and July 19, 2022.

According to the false advertising class action lawsuit, Aneheuser-Busch’s Ritas products don’t contain real tequila or wine as advertised. Instead, these alcoholic products are just “flavored beer,” the plaintiffs contend.

The settlement benefits consumers for whom TransUnion Rental Screening Solutions reported a criminal record and/or landlord-tenant record to a third party since Nov. 7, 2016. The settlement also covers a number of subclasses of consumers whose TransUnion Rental Screening Solutions report contained certain types of inaccurate information.

Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim TransUnion included inaccurate information on their rental screening credit reports, causing them to be denied renting opportunities. TransUnion reports allegedly included false felonies, sex offenses and other records.

TransUnion agreed to pay $11.5 million to resolve the class action lawsuit. Under the settlement terms, consumers could receive a share of the settlement based on the inaccurate information their reports contained. The settlement benefits consumers who purchased TGI Friday’s Mozzarella Sticks Snacks, including TGI Friday’s Mozzarella Sticks Snacks Original, Mozzarella Sticks Snacks Original Flavor and Mozzarella Sticks Snacks Original Flavor Baked shelf-stable bagged snack-food products from Jan. 1, 2017, to July 31, 2022.

According to the false advertising class action lawsuit, TGI Friday’s Mozzarella Sticks Snacks sold by Inventure Foods do not contain real mozzarella cheese as advertised. Consumers claim they were tricked into overpaying for the products based on these false promises.

The settlement benefits consumers who placed a delivery order through Panda Express’ website or mobile app between July 17, 2020, and Feb. 16, 2022, and were charged a service fee in connection with their order.

Plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit claim Panda Express charged unexpected service fees on delivery orders. The fast food chain allegedly misled consumers about the delivery fees and related expenses they would pay when ordering online.

Panda Express agreed to pay $1.4 million to resolve the class action lawsuit. Under the settlement terms, class members could receive a cash payment or product vouchers. One reader reported a payment of $10.47 from the Panda Express class action lawsuit settlement.

The settlement benefited consumers who purchased laptops, camcorders, cordless power tools or other items that contain lithium-ion batteries since 2000.

Plaintiffs in the antitrust class action lawsuit accused the world’s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturers of conspiring to raise and fix the price of certain batteries. This scheme allegedly allowed manufacturers to overcharge consumers for over a decade.
